Bob Roth, Big Green ZeroAs a CEO of Big Green Zero, Dr. Bob Roth is dedicated to helping businesses make more green (sales and profit), while creating greener environments.

Prior to joining Big Green Zero Bob served as a “C” level business development officer with several “big businesses” and as the CEO or COO in two start-ups. He has also provided management consulting services to a number of world-class clients.

In “big businesses” Bob Roth has served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Del Webb Recreational Properties, Vice President of Marketing for Radisson Hotels and as National Advertising Director for the Holiday Inns System, Worldwide.

As a “serial entrepreneur” he co-founded Roth/Graham Advertising (Minneapolis) and served as President and Chief Operating Officer for the Grand Canyon Railway Project (his doctoral dissertation provided the development and business plans). He also had the highly educational experience of being a dot.com founder during 1999 and 2000.

As a business consultant Bob has mentored and coached leaders and teams at several dozen Fortune 100 companies and also several hundred small businesses. Some of the better known organizations that “Dr. Bob” has consulted to include the American Productivity and Quality Center (first administrator of the Baldrige National Quality Award), the Council for Continuous Improvement, Baxter Healthcare, 3M, Fireman’s Fund, Whirlpool, Kaiser Permanente, Health Central, Anti-Aging Today, Sara Lee, National Semiconductor, Hewlett-Packard, Gold Bond, Sandia National Laboratories, Doubletree Hotels, Best Western International, The Navajo Nation, the Coleville Confederated Tribes, the National Main Street Project – Cripple Creek, CO and the Arizona Office of Tourism.

Bob’s past nonprofit and community activities have included board and staff positions with the American Humane Association, the Arizona Small Business Association, National Main Street Projects and Junior Achievement. His current priorities include 1) contributing to the sustainable reenergizing of America’s commercial infrastructure, and 2) to developing the concept of Organic Energy Management™.

Bob’s academic credential includes a B.S. in public communications (magna cum laude) from Boston University, MBA and Ph.D. degrees (Dean’s Award) from California Coast University and certificates in business process improvement and process benchmarking from the American Productivity and Quality Center.
