The Creative Center of Scottsdale, a co-working space dedicated solely to artists located in the heart of Old Town, is currently accepting applications from local artists to set up shop during a pop-up fair celebrating the center’s three year anniversary in early February.

During the fair, happening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, attendees can peruse local art pieces, take a peek inside the Creative Center of Scottsdale and enjoy discounted dishes from Brat Haus. The center’s current tenants, who include a painter, photographer, clothing designer and graphic design team will be putting their work on display during the event that is free to the public.

The Creative Center of Scottsdale is searching for additional artists who want to participate and sell their items. Artists will have a 10 by 10 foot dedicated space on the center’s outdoor patio to display their work. Various mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry/metalsmithing and others will be considered. Artists interested can submit an application to artists@creativecenterscottsdale.com. If selected, the fee to rent the space is $25.

“The center is a creative, collaborative space and this event encapsulates that,” said Michelle Biely, owner at the Creative Center of Scottsdale. “This is not only a celebration of our three year anniversary, but a celebration of the great art that comes out of Arizona.”

The Creative Center of Scottsdale is open to artists of all kinds. From painting to graphic design, sculpture, architecture and beyond, the building offers private studio options, drop-in day rates and open working spaces to fit every need.
