This month, local fitness studios will come together to host the first annual Flagstaff Fitness Week in Northern Arizona to promote health and wellness within the community and raise money for a local charity.

Throughout the week, fitness enthusiasts can take one class at each of the eight participating studios including Orangetheory Fitness, Barre 3 and ESenEM Yoga where they will receive a sticker on their Flagstaff Fitness Week passport. For each sticker earned, guests will receive one ticket to be entered into a raffle during the closing party at Aspen Place at The Sawmill. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Flagstaff Family Food Center, a food bank and kitchen that provides hot meals, children’s literacy programs and now over 30,000 emergency food boxes to Flagstaff families.

Other participating studios include Momentum Aerial, Northern Arizona Yoga Center, Paragon Athletics, ROOTS and The Yoga Experience. Lululemon Athletica will also be offering all Flagstaff Fitness Week participants 20 percent off their entire purchase when they show their passport.

The week-long festivities will begin on Friday, April 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the official kick-off party at Dark Sky Brewing where guests can participate in a workout class by Evolve Flagstaff, pick up their goodie bags, purchase their passport for $80 and schedule classes for the week. To participate in Flagstaff Fitness Week, guests may also purchase a passport at any of the eight studios.

After a week of strengthening, stretching, burning and breathing, those who worked-out can bring their passport to the closing party at Whisk and Whisky on May 4 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. During the event, there will be a live raffle with prizes from a variety of Aspen Place tenants and other local businesses, a beer garden on the patio and delicious food and drinks.
