The FOUND:RE Phoenix will launch its next art exhibit on Friday, Aug. 3. The “Master Class” exhibit will kick off in conjunction with the area’s popular First Friday’s Art Walk and the exhibit will be on display through Monday, Sept. 30, 2018.

The exhibit is co-curated by artists and art instructors Kathy Taylor and JoAnn Augur, who have their art on exhibit in the FOUND:RE’s lobby. Taylor’s art is also on display throughout the FOUND:RE’s guestrooms and in the elevator landings. The art featured in this latest exhibition will represent approximately 20 of their students’ works. A wide variety of painting mediums will be on exhibit; and pieces will be available for purchase.

“With each exhibit that we reveal, we find great pride in sharing new themes, new mediums and local artists that make our art community so unique,” says Michael Oleskow, the FOUND:RE’s cultural curator. “We are pleased to work with renowned local art instructors and their students to bring our guests and visitors yet another exhibit of artistic expression.”

On Friday August 3, the debut of the exhibit, the FOUND:RE Hotel will host the show opening and artists’ reception from 6:00 p.m. to 8: 00 p.m. featuring refreshments. The artists whose art is on display will be onsite to mingle with guests as well.

“We’re thrilled to give our students the chance to display their works at the FOUND:RE and it’s a great way for art enthusiasts to start, or add to, an art collection for a reasonable price,” says Taylor, owner of Studio 6020 Center for Creative Development. “It’s opportunities like this that give our students the platform to share their artistic voices.”

The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and by checking availability at the front desk on weekends.
