Folla Media LLC, a Scottsdale-based holding company of leading golf brands, announced the launch of Golfpay, a new golf reservation app that will change how golfers book their tee times. The web-based app is the first in the world to allow golfers to pay and check-in from their phone, creating a time saving, hassle free experience that is quickly becoming the norm in other industries.

“Golfpay is going to forever change the golf industry,” said Dale Merritt, CEO of Golfpay. “Our app focuses more on amenities than on tee time discounts, which is something that is really needed in the industry right now. We’re giving golfers something more, when booking tee times at their favorite courses, and we also eliminated the booking fees.”

Optimized for performance on mobile devices, Golfpay’s unique design and technology has seamlessly bundled a number of features that include no booking fees for golfers, reservation invites, split payment options, and of course mobile check-in.

Golfpay works in conjunction with Pivotal, a web-based kiosk and easy to use interface, which clearly lays out the golfers who are using Golfpay’s fast check-in and payment system. Pivotal also tracks new acquisitions, and makes customers more loyal through other exclusive features. The platform will be implemented at golf courses throughout Arizona starting this month and in other states by 2017.

“With these products, we are fixing a problem by making golf more experiential and reconnecting the golfer and the golf course using killer technology that people will actually use. At the same time, we are giving golf courses more independence from their third party marketing channels focused on tee time discounts, with no profit margins,” said Merritt.
