The 101 Cultural Route offers music, architecture

Now, you can experience your love of music and architecture at the same time as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West and the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) have jointly introduced a vibrant, one-day experience: The 101 Cultural Route.

Architecture 101

You get the key to Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home when you tour Taliesin West. The 90-minute guided Insights Tour visits Wright’s living quarters, private office, the Cabaret, and the gracious Garden Room. Offered daily at 9:30 a.m., discover the artistry of America’s greatest architect. Wright was inspired by music and enjoyed playing his Steinway piano at Taliesin West. When you visit mim, you may play a Steinway piano.

Music 101

You get the keys to music from around the globe when you visit MIM. Celebrate music and culture from every country in the world using state-of-the-art audio and video technology. Take a self-guided tour through engaging displays where you see, hear, and feel the creative spirit of people as they play their instruments. Stop by the Steinway exhibit to see a photo of Frank Lloyd Wright at the piano in one of MIM’s five Geographic Galleries.
