The Valley has an exciting weekend ahead filled with concerts, festivals and even an air show! Check out these five fun events:

Chandler Jazz Festival

This free festival will showcase soulful local and national performers. Don’t forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy outdoor performances at the Downtown Chandler Library Plaza.

Details: Friday, April 1, through Saturday, April 2. 5-10 p.m. on Friday and 2:30-10 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free.

Great Arizona Beer Festival

Over 200 brews from 50 breweries can be sampled at the Great Arizona Beer Festival at Sloan Park. General admission tickets include one sample cup and 24 tickets to exchange for beer samples. Proceeds from the event benefit Sun Sounds of Arizona, a non-profit radio reading service for people with disabilities.

Luke Air Force Base Air Show

Celebrate the 75th anniversary of Luke Air Force Base at the “75 Years of Airpower” air show. There will be aerial demonstrations, static displays and opportunities to interact with Luke Airmen.

Details: Saturday, April 2, through Sunday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Phoenix Pride Festival

150 entertainment performances on five stages will be featured along with food vendors, an Arts Expo and community resources for the 35th Annual Phoenix Pride Festival, which raises awareness of the Phoenix metropolitan LGBTQ community. The Pride Parade will kick off at 10 a.m. on Sunday at Third Street and Thomas Road in Phoenix and will conclude at Steele Indian School Park, the home of the Pride Festival.

Details: Saturday, April 2, through Sunday April 3, from noon to 9 p.m. Tickets range from $15 to $75. Admission is free for children ages 12 and under.

Phoenix Lights

The second edition of the Phoenix Lights Festival will feature big names in electronic music, including Kaskade, DJ Snake, Eric Prydz, Excision and more at Margaret T. Hance Park.

Details: Saturday, April 2, through Sunday, April 3 from 3-11 p.m. Tickets range from $69 to $179.

Steve Hackett at Talking Stick

Legendary musician, Steve Hackett, is making a stop at Talking Stick Resort for his North American Tour 2016. Hackett has influenced legendary musicians such as Eddie Van Halen, and many others, and he’ll be bringing is wonderful sound this Saturday.
