Now you can “Find Your Park” all winter long at Bryce Canyon National Park. For the first time in its history, Forever Resorts’ The Lodge at Bryce Canyon—the only overnight accommodation inside Bryce Canyon National Park—will remain open throughout the winter months, offering rooms at its Sunset Hotel from Nov. 8, 2015, through March 24, 2016. The Lodge will resume its full operations schedule on March 25, 2016.
This winter pilot program coincides with the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary commemoration and will allow guests the chance to discover the magic and majesty of winter at Bryce Canyon National Park. In addition to offering its extraordinary landscape features and giant, natural amphitheater, the park is one of only three United States parks to have been designated an International Dark Skies Park—so winter stargazing is sure to be unforgettable.
Under the call to action, “Find Your Park,” the NPS’s Centennial public awareness campaign invites the next generation of park visitors, supporters and advocates to discover that a park can be more than a single place. It can be a feeling of inspiration or a sense of community that comes from volunteering. There is a national park in every state, and the National Park Service encourages everyone to find their park and to share their experiences at FindYourPark.org.
All rooms are priced at $120/night for double occupancy with a $10 charge for each additional guest. Rollaway beds and cribs are available (a $12 charge for rollaways applies). Light continental breakfast is included with each room night.
