It’s been 40 years of hard work, lessons learned and achievements earned for one of Arizona’s real estate professionals and philanthropists Michael Pollack. In searching for the correct phrase to describe the tour-de-force career and life of the one-of-a-kind entrepreneur, “blood, sweat and tears” comes to mind.

So it’s appropriate—no, it’s actually spot-on perfect—that Pollack celebrates his 40 years in business by presenting a show by Blood, Sweat & Tears, whose songs were being heard across the land leading up to, during and after Pollack’s entrance into the business world.

The show takes place at 7:30 p.m. on November 16th at the Chandler Center for the Arts. Pollack, a music aficionado who performs regularly, has even invited his high school music teacher to the performance. You can buy tickets at Ticketmaster.

For Pollack, the show is his way of saying to all those he’s worked with through the years: “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy.”

“It’s been a Blood, Sweat and Tears kind of career for me so it’s only fitting that the band that was played on radios everywhere when I started out in business plays here in the Valley to mark my 40 years in business,” Pollack said. “I love giving back and saying thank you to those who I have worked with along the way and to the community and I am thrilled to bring Blood, Sweat & Tears to play at the Chandler Center for the Arts. I hope everyone comes out to see this legendary band perform on what should be a memorable night.”

The performance is just another way of Pollack giving back to the place he calls home. In February, Pollack, one of the Valley’s most generous entrepreneurs, reached into his pocketbook and donated $100,000 to Goodwill of Central Arizona, putting his lifetime of giving to Goodwill at more than a $1 million. In 2011, Goodwill honored Pollack with the Lifetime Achievement Award and last year Pollack was honored with the 2012 Business Partner of the Year at the Goodwill of Central Arizona’s 12th Annual Evening of Goodwill.
