On Saturdays at noon, Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa’s best barmen host Mixology 101, Scottsdale’s top hands-on cocktail experience. Designed for guests eager to discover the art of cocktail creation, the series teaches participants to craft a selection of cocktails inspired by a different spirit each week. Mixologists at jade bar will tantalize the taste buds with a three-hour mixology experience. Guests will learn cutting edge techniques and get the inside scoop on jade bar’s freshness philosophy, spirit details and the history behind the libations they are concocting. The classes, priced at $50 per person, include plenty of samplings and take-home recipes. A 15 percent discount will be applied to all food purchases during the class. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 480-607-2300. Reservations close at 8 p.m. the Friday evening before the following day’s class.
