The CORE Institute adds Dr. Brian Seeto

The CORE Institute, #1 ranked Phoenix-based orthopedic group, is proud to announce it has added Dr. Brian Seeto, M.D. to its talented team and will be working out of the West Phoenix and Peoria locations. Dr. Seeto is a fellowship-trained physician and orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and orthopedic traumatology.

“Dr. Seeto is an internationally trained orthopedic surgeon who brings innovative solutions to complex shoulder trauma,” said Steven Myerthall, MD, Arizona Market President at The CORE Institute. “He will be serve as a valuable addition to our patients in the West Valley and those in need of best-in-class shoulder care.”

Dr. Seeto comes to The CORE Institute after completing a combined fellowship in orthopedic traumatology and upper extremity at the University of Toronto, Canada. He also completed a separate fellowship in shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction under the esteemed Professor Pascal Boileau at the Hospital Pasteur in Nice, France. He is recognized as an expert in shoulder arthroscopy, total shoulder replacement, and reverse shoulder replacement, as well as clavicle fracture and rotator cuff tears, and shoulder arthritis, bursitis and tendinitis.

SVN’s Jonathan Levy accepted into NAIOP program

The Developing Leaders Forum provides commercial real estate industry professionals the unique opportunity to advance their careers by gaining insights from networking with seasoned commercial real estate professionals and peers during a two-year period.  The program is specifically designed for industry professionals 35 years of age and under with at least four years of related commercial real estate experience.  Recently, SVN Advisor Jonathan Levy who specializes in the office property type was accepted in the NAIOP Developing Leaders Program. He is the only professional from Arizona to be accepted into the program. 

Levy recently brokered the sale of a $1,575,000 single tenant NNN leased investment with Honor Health in the strong Arrowhead submarket in Glendale. He has established many relationships with property owners in the Phoenix and west valley marketing, while maintaining a balance on both the sales and leasing sides of the business. When Levy is not deal-making you can find him volunteering for multiple CRE events throughout the year, including some volunteer work at the ‘Best of NAIOP’ and “Night at the Fights.” Managing Director at SVN Desert Commercial Advisors Perry Laufenberg said, “By being one of the few real estate professionals in the country selected to participate in the NAIOP Developing Leaders Forum, Jonathan will have a unique opportunity to interact with industry leaders across the country over the next two years. Stephanie A. Walsh joins Sojourner Center

Stephanie A. Walsh, MBA, has been named director of major and planned gifts for Sojourner Center.  Walsh, a fundraising professional with 20 years’ experience, joins Sojourner Center from the Banner Health Foundation where she served as the development manager for the past five years.

Sojourner Center is a domestic violence service organization providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, domestic violence education, safety planning, lay-legal advocacy, case management, a child development center, 24-hour crisis hotline, referral services, community education and healthcare through an on-site clinic. As of mid-2017, Sojourner Center operates as an affiliate subsidiary organization of Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS). 

“We knew it was important to have a dedicated fundraising professional on our team focusing on development efforts for Sojourner Center,” said Gail Baer, associate vice president of philanthropic services at JFCS.  “Stephanie brings not only a wealth of experience in fundraising but a deep understanding of and social services programming as well.”

Gallagher & Kennedy associate will serve on board

PHOENIX, Ariz. (February 6, 2018) – The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy announced that Associate Danielle Hazeltine has been chosen to serve on the Board of Directors for Ballet Arizona.  In her role, Danielle will work with fellow board members to expand the Ballet’s reach and further develop educational opportunities.
