Cresa welcomes Latin America advisory team to Phoenix

Cresa, the world’s most trusted occupier-centric commercial real estate firm, announced the addition of Jeffrey Garza Walker, MRED, MBA and Joshua Rodriguez, MRED to the Phoenix Office. Fluent in Spanish, this global occupier services team will focus primarily on representing U.S.-based industrial portfolio company’s requirements in Latin America, as well as internationally based firms looking to expand into the United States.

Jeffrey brings more than 16 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, and his expertise includes strategy assessment and implementation, portfolio occupier representation and management, and ground-up development advisory.   In addition to serving as Managing Partner a national tenant representation brokerage firm, Jeffrey was Senior Director of Corporate Real Estate for APL Logistics, where he was responsible for overseeing their 20M SF industrial real estate portfolio within North America and Latin America. 

A native of Arizona, Joshua joins from a national tenant representation brokerage firm, where he was responsible for business & client development, tenant representation and lease portfolio management.  Joshua was also part of an account team whose primary responsibilities included occupier transactional services within North and Latin America. 

Both Jeffrey and Joshua hold a Masters of Real Estate Development, from Arizona State University.

Jeffrey joins the firm as Senior Vice President and Joshua as Vice President.

Jennings Strouss welcomes Brian J. McNamara

Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, P.L.C., a leading Phoenix-based law firm, announced that Brian J. McNamara has joined the firm as a Member.

McNamara earned his B.S. in Cell Biology and Physiology from Arizona State University, Magna cum laude; his LLM in International Business Law from the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain; his J.D. from Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Conner College of Law; and his MBA from the IE Business School. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Bar Association. 

Goettl Air Conditioning hires chief compliance officer

Goettl Air Conditioning, the iconic pioneer of cooled-air technology founded nearly 80 years ago, has hired Donna DiMaggio as Chief Compliance Officer.

DiMaggio will ensure the company’s ongoing compliance with governmental regulations and foster a positive, safe and innovative culture for its employees, customers and community partners. DiMaggio will help Goettl Air Conditioning navigate the complex rules and regulations the industry faces from transportation, insurance, labor and other regulatory agencies.

Kerry Schulman named COO at Ronald McDonald House Charities

Kerry Schulman, a former McDonald’s owner-operator, previous board member and co-chair of the 2018 McNight to Remember Gala, has been named Chief Operations Officer at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona (RMHC-CNAZ).

Schulman, who will manage the organization’s day-to-day operations, served on the RMHC-CNAZ board for three years and the board’s executive committee for one-and-a-half years.  As co-chair of A McNight to Remember Beauty and the Beast Gala, the organization’s primary fund-raising event in November with Chiko Swiney, workers’ compensation attorney at Copperpoint Insurance Companies, she helped guide a record-breaking event that attracted a crowd of 700 people and generated more than $500,000.

Plexus Worldwide taps Sinéad Pollock
