HMA Public Relations hires Grace Flemer

HMA Public Relations announced its recent hire of Grace Flemer, who has joined the team as an account coordinator.  Flemer will be responsible for assisting with digital communications, media relations, social media management, event planning and providing support for HMA’s account executive team. 

“I was attracted by the company’s extensive expertise and all of the services that HMA offers,” Flemer said. “I wanted to begin my career in the public relations industry with a team of professionals who have some of the most experience with all types of clients.”

Flemer recently graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala. as public relations major. During her time at UA, Flemer gained experience in writing, research, integrated marketing and communications, event planning and implementation.  She has prior work experience in healthcare, restaurant hospitality and public sector education.

Flemer has lived in six states and nine cities all over the United States. She recently moved to the Phoenix area after graduating this past May. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, watching the Crimson Tide football team every Saturday in the fall and discovering new restaurants everywhere she goes.

Radix Law announces new associate

Radix Law announced the latest addition to the firm. Born and raised in New Jersey, Marc Maher joins the practice as an associate attorney and brings with him years of experience in the area of real estate law.

Maher has extensive experience in transactional business and real estate law and represents clients in cases involving commercial and residential acquisition, disposition and leasing matters. 

Maher has a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University, an M.B.A from University of Phoenix and received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in Texas. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Arizona, New York and New Jersey.  

“Marc’s comprehensive understanding of real estate transaction law will be very valuable to our clients, we are thrilled to bring him on as our new associate,” said Jonathan Frutkin, Principal Attorney at Radix Law.

Maher is an active member of the State Bar of Arizona, where he serves as an editor for the Arizona Real Estate Forms Manual for the ‘Real Property’ section. He is also a licensed real estate broker in Arizona.  

Steward Health Care hires Arizona regional president

Steward Health Care has welcomed industry veteran Douglas Luckett to its executive leadership team as the new Arizona Regional President.

Luckett will oversee operations and leadership at all of the organization’s Arizona health care facilities, including Mountain Vista Medical Center, St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center and Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital. 

As the new Arizona Regional President, Luckett will be leading Steward’s Arizona health care facilities into the future, including evaluating future expansions throughout the region. 

“Doug’s vision, combined with his knowledge of the health care industry, leadership skills and proven track record make him a valuable addition to our Arizona leadership team,” said John Polanowicz, Chief Operating Officer of Steward Health Care System.

Luckett is familiar with Steward’s commitment to delivering quality care and services for the local community in his previous role as the interim Chief Executive Officer at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Massachusetts. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for CaroMont Health in North Carolina, an independent health system located in an extremely competitive market. Doug also held the post of Chief Administrative Officer of Gulf Coast Medical Center and Cape Coral Hospital for the Lee Health System in the Fort Myers, Fla. In addition, he has also held executive positions in operations leadership for hospitals in Florida for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), as well as executive operations leadership positions in South Carolina and Georgia with the former Health Management Associates (HMA).

Ally Bluechel joins NAI Horizon

NAI Horizon, having just celebrated its 25th anniversary in the Valley in 2017, continues its growth in Arizona with the hiring of Ally Bluechel as Marketing Specialist.

Bluechel will provide support to NAI Horizon brokerage teams by developing materials for marketing proposals. She will also create and maintain marketing materials that will help reinforce brand recognition. This includes proposals, database support, and preparation of accurate, timely, and relevant documentation.

Bluechel joins NAI Horizon after two years as operations manager at Montgomery Technologies in San Francisco, a riser management company. She also served as an administrative assistant and office manager at GPS Technologies.
