Rosie Keller joins Transwestern

Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) today announces it has appointed Rosie Keller to serve as Senior Vice President and Asset Services leader in Phoenix. With almost 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Keller will oversee the firm’s 5 million-square-foot portfolio in the Phoenix area, including Marina Heights in Tempe. She will work closely with Mark Stratz, TCS Managing Director and Phoenix City Leader, to drive integrated real estate solutions for new and existing clients.

Before joining Transwestern, Keller worked at Ryan Cos. for 15 years in the construction and development departments. She later worked at Cushman & Wakefield as the portfolio manager and at BKM Capital Partners as the regional asset manager.

Polsinelli welcomes Shareholder Tami Keller

Polsinelli welcomed Tami Keller to the Phoenix office.  Keller is a real estate finance attorney who helps lenders and borrowers navigate all aspects of complex commercial and senior housing loan transactions and construction-based acquisitions, including both asset-based and real property lending.  She also counsels lenders and investors on tax credit transactions.  A shareholder with Polsinelli, Keller recently relocated to Phoenix from the firm’s St. Louis office.

Martinez hired at Bell Bank

Michael Martinez has been hired as SVP/commercial lender at Bell Bank, located at 1850 East Northrop Blvd in Chandler, Ariz. In his new position, Martinez develops meaningful banking/lending relationships with talented real estate investors. Lending opportunities include acquisition, refinance, construction, development, and select re-position plays.

Originally from Phoenix, Martinez earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University. His work history includes 14 years in the grocery industry prior to joining the world of banking with M&I Bank in 2006. His banking career has been focused on real estate investment lending. In 2015, he joined Johnson Bank and later spent one year at Parkway Bank before joining Bell Bank in September of 2018.

Sundt promotes JP Jaramillo

Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) recently promoted Jon-Paul (JP) Jaramillo to talent acquisition manager.

“This is a great transition for JP,” said Nicole Calamaio, vice president of talent management. “He has recruited some of the best and brightest to join Sundt and now he leads the team that will be focused on finding new talent while delivering a first-class candidate experience.”

Jaramillo has been with Sundt for over six years serving as a senior talent acquisition specialist. During those years, he also helped build a talent acquisition team which now consists of four talent acquisition specialists, a recruiting administrator and a college/university recruiting specialist.  Together as a team, Sundt’s talent acquisition group has hired and on-boarded over 1,500 administrative professionals and just over 400 interns since 2012.   

Grauer moves into leadership role at Sundt

Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) recently selected Stewart Grauer to serve as Phoenix Regional Director for its Building Group, Southwest District. In his new role, Grauer is responsible for business development, preconstruction and project execution as well as profitability, risk management and talent development.

Grauer has nearly 35 years of industry experience, including 11 years with Sundt. Most recently he led Sundt’s Concrete Division, which self-performs on numerous Sundt transportation, industrial and building projects. Before his work in Concrete, Grauer had served as operations manager and preconstruction project manager for the Building Group’s Southwest District. His project experience includes government, mixed-use, healthcare, data centers, commercial office buildings, justice, labs and education. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in construction management.

Greenberg Traurig adds former Arizona Solicitor General

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP added Dominic E. Draye to its Phoenix and Washington, D.C., offices as a shareholder in the Litigation Practice. Draye previously served as the Solicitor General of Arizona, where he briefed and argued the State’s highest-profile civil and criminal appeals and served as lead counsel for several multi-state coalitions litigating over agency rulemaking in the D.C. Circuit.

“Dominic is a stellar litigator and appellate specialist who adds great expertise and depth to our litigation group in Arizona and nationally,” Global Litigation Practice co-chairs Lori G. Cohen and Jeff E. Scott said in a joint statement. “With Dominic, we have added a nationally renowned appellate specialist who can serve our clients throughout the nation.” 

Draye has litigated at every level of the state and federal judiciary—from state trial court to the Supreme Court of the United States. His practice focuses on constitutional, regulatory, and environmental matters, and he has represented clients in both the public and private sectors. In the federal appellate courts, he has represented clients in the Fifth, Seventh, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits. Prior to government service, Draye was a litigator in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where his practice focused on legal issues and appeals.
