The Original Taste, Arizona’s premier food and beverage celebration, returns to the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. The event offers a breadth of culinary delights from the Valley’s hottest chefs, live entertainment and more — all in support of local youth charities.

On April 22, Scottsdale Waterfront will be abuzz with an expected 5,000 attendees who will flock to the Original Taste in search of the most delectable bites and beverages served up by some of the Valley’s most popular restaurants. More than 40 local restaurants will be serving samples of their inspired menus including Bourbon & Bones, Crab & Mermaid, Sushi Roku, Fogo de Chao, Kaleidoscope and many more. In addition to fine eats, more than 50 wines from around the world, select brands of beer and premium liquor options abound. Live entertainment will keep the crowd hoppin’ all night long.

General admission, featuring tastes and live entertainment, begins at 7:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. Early bird tickets are $100 through March 15, after which prices will then increase to $125. VIP Original Taste attendees are invited to experience an exclusive VIP after party, Late Night with Executive Council 70 (EC70), beginning at 10:00 p.m. until midnight featuring live music, spinning DJ’s and an up-all-night vibe. VIP tickets are $225 through March 15, and $250 after.

The Original Taste is presented by the members of Executive Council 70 and benefits Executive Council Charities (ECC). Proceeds from the Original Taste help fund critical youth programs at organizations like Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale, Ryan House, Foundation for Blind Children, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Jewish Family & Children’s Service, Sojourner Center, New Pathways for Youth, UMOM New Day Centers, Child Crisis Arizona and more.

The goal of ECC this year is to raise more than $3,000,000 for these important youth charities. Marketing Chair Casey Charpio says, “We’re proud to continue the tradition of presenting an amazing culinary event in the valley while serving a good cause — helping local children in need.
