The Phenomenal Woman Empowerment Network (PWEN), a Phoenix-based nonprofit, is hosting “Living in the Overflow” on Saturday, May 5, from 9 am to 5:30 pm at the Raven Golf Resort. The inspirational event will feature presentations from nationally known TV producers, business owners and ministers, a vendor marketplace, music, awards, gifts and special performances. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Carrie J. Gray Scholarship Foundation to provide educational assistance to low income women.

“We’re especially excited about our 7th Annual Phenomenal Woman Empowerment Conference (PWEC). Seven is a special number that represents divine completeness. This year’s  theme, Living in the Overflow, is designed to show women how to live with an abundance mindset and feel empowered, encouraged, equipped and elevated to help them soar in their stratosphere of success,” says PWEN founder, speaker, coach, and author, Sharise L. Erby-Castle.

Presenters will include Felicia Timmons, founder of Wisdom & Wealth International, Dr. Donise Dillard, Sr. Pastor of Life Changers Worship Center, Myesha Chaney, First Lady of Antioch Church of Long Beach, Kelley Steele, Co-Pastor of Kingdom in the Valley, Dr. Yvonne Capehart, Founder of Sister Keeper International Ministries, Dr. Letitia Wright, Executive Producer of “The Wright Place” TV Show and Rebecca King Crews, TV producer and inspirational speaker.

King-Crews, an Executive Producer for the “The Family Crews,” a series that runs on BET (Black Entertainment Television) domestically and on MTV (Music Television) internationally, was also a presenter for PWEN’s 2017 conference. She says, “Sharise manages to bring people together from diverse backgrounds in a way that is meaningful and elevates everyone to a new level of awareness of what they can achieve.”

Carolyn Fisher, a recent PWEN conference attendee adds, “Sharise teaches you to not ‘settle,’ and that you do have the power to change your world.”

According to Erby-Castle, “What is so important about this event is that the proceeds will allow us to financially contribute to two current college students and we’ll be awarding another deserving young woman attending college in the fall.

Founded in 2013, PWEN is a 501c3 non-profit membership organization designed to support, encourage and empower women of all ages, races, and economic status in their pursuit of living a healthy emotional, spiritual, professional, physical, and mentally well-balanced life.

For over 25 years, Erby-Castle has been coaching, leading, teaching, ministering and speaking to women and men in the community, her church, or wherever she feels the “tugging at her spirit.”

In 2016, she was honored with the Black Wall Street Community Leadership Award in Phoenix. And is the author of two books: Just Do You, and Whole Women Win: Unleashing the Winner from Within.

She adds, “Living in the Overflow will focus on the ‘whole woman” and what I refer to as the Seven Pillars of Wholeness: relational, financial, spiritual, professional, physical, mental, and emotional. This is also a tremendous networking opportunity for the community. I am always in awe of the connections and relationships that have begun at our conferences over the years.”
