Home prices in Arizona were up 0.5% year-over-year in October. At the same time, the number of homes sold rose 1.7% and the number of homes for sale rose 9.0%, according to data released from Redfin. In October 2025, home prices in Arizona were up 0.5% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $447,000. On average, the number of homes sold was up 1.7% year over year and there were 7,978 homes sold in October this year, up 7,843 homes sold in October last year. The median days on the market was 69 days, up 12 year over year.

  9. Sun Lakes, AZ: 3.6%

That is good news for Arizona homeowners because home values are falling for more than half of U.S. households. New research from Zillow® shows 53% of all U.S. homes have lost value since last year — the highest share since 2012, the tail end of home value declines after the Great Recession. 

But the vast majority of homeowners have seen their home values rise substantially in the time they’ve owned them — 67% growth at the median — and losses are rare; just over 4% of homes have lost value since they were last sold, a smaller share than before the pandemic.
