Remington Nevada, a leading Las Vegas-based commercial land developer, has teamed up with Suite 6 Architecture + Planning, Inc., a local architecture firm, to develop three new mixed-use marketplaces to match the county’s growing demands for retail.

Maricopa County – home to Gilbert and Scottsdale – was ranked the fastest-growing area in the nation, according to the U.S. Census Bureau in 2017, with a population growth of nearly 223 people per day.

“We are excited to provide all the key elements that growing areas like Gilbert and Scottsdale need,” said David DelZotto, Founder and President of Remington Nevada. “Strong communities need a neighborhood grocery store, family-friendly restaurants, retail shops, and most importantly, opportunity.”

Upon completion, numerous full-time jobs will be infused into the community.

“Whether it’s opportunity in the form of jobs for locals, or the opportunity for a retailer to reach a new market, the first step is developing the land,” said DelZotto.

“We have watched Gilbert exit the recession as one of the fastest growing communities in the nation,” said Dean Munkachy, Owner of Suite 6 Architecture + Planning, Inc. “But now our community is craving growth and all that comes with it. Our projects with Remington Nevada are a great opportunity to stimulate and cultivate our local economy, while keeping our area’s personality and character engrained as we grow.”

The three Remington Nevada/Suite 6 Architecture + Planning, Inc. developments include:

San Tan Pavilion, Gilbert

The grocery store-anchored marketplace encompasses 250,000 sq. ft, in a 33-acre shopping center in Gilbert, Arizona, adjacent to the San Tan Mall. Most recently, At Home, the home décor super store, found residence at the pavilion as the lead anchor. Tenants for another 20,000 sq. ft of retail space are coming shortly as Phase I of construction is completed.

Gilbert Crossing, Gilbert

Construction will commence in early 2018 on Gilbert Crossing, a 92,500 square-foot retail center on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Warner Roads. The development will be anchored by a flagship 30,000 square-foot, two-story Planet Fitness.

The Villages at Troon North, Scottsdale

Completed at the beginning of summer, The Villages at Troon North consists of 67,000 sq. ft. office condominium space. The property encompasses almost 12 acres and is surrounded by Troon North Resort golf courses.
