Luhrs City Center (LCC) announced a new addition to its already impressive tenant roster that is making it a tech industry epicenter.

Scheduled for completion in mid-May, Sensei Project Solutions will occupy a custom-designed, open floor plan office suite and technology training center unspooling across the entire 9th floor of the LCC’s historic Luhrs Tower. Named Microsoft’s Global “Partner of the Year for Project and Portfolio Management (PPM)” in 2014, Phoenix-based Sensei Project Solutions is recognized as a global leader in the PPM field with clients in 19 states, resellers in 10 countries and App sales globally in over 30 countries, all backed by an impressive 158% total revenue growth for the past 5 quarters. Combined with the LCC’s ongoing startup acceleration and commercialization contest hosted in partnership with Tallwave, the Luhrs City Center is well on its way to serving as the Technology + Innovation Hub for Downtown Phoenix.

In fact, according to Sensei Project Solutions’ CEO, Kenneth Steiness, it was this unique mix of historic 1920s charm and innovative, high-tech amenities that made him pick up the phone and inquire about officing at the Luhrs City Center in the first place. “I live in downtown Phoenix and am a big supporter of the area’s exciting cultural and economic growth, so when I read about the Luhrs City Center and the owner’s commitment to creating a high-tech hub inside this historic property, I knew it was the perfect home for Sensei Project Solutions.” Scheduled for move-in on May 18, Sensei Project Solution’s new headquarters will offer a flexible, collaborative and open floor plan capable of handling everything from one-on-one training to large-scale seminars. “We deliver online and on-premise events and briefings for Microsoft almost weekly across the country. The space in Phoenix at Luhrs Tower will very much be an Event Space and Executive Briefing Center, where we will bring in executives and project managers to showcase the latest in Microsoft technology and devices,” Steiness says. “Since we’re taking over the entire 9th floor, we’ll be able to configure the main ‘flex’ space for various event types and also facilitate collaboration sessions and product development with our team members from across the US, Canada, India and Eastern Europe.”

Housed between Central and First Avenues & Jefferson and Madison Streets, the Luhrs City Center includes the iconic Luhrs Building (1924) and Luhrs Tower (1929), plus the historic one-story Luhrs Arcade connecting both high-rises, as well as a six-level parking garage. Scheduled for completion in 2016, the property also includes the all-new dual brand Luhrs City Center Marriott Residence Inn & Courtyard, a 19-story, 320-room hotel that will complete the owner’s decade-long, multi-million dollar preservation and revitalization efforts of this landmark city block.

Most important, says Rajan Hansji, President of Hansji Corporation, is the vibrant energy these new tenants continue to bring to LCC. This is all part of the LCC’s dedication to establishing Downtown Phoenix as a hub for innovation and high-tech startups. “Working with companies such as Sensei Project Solutions, who literally wrote the book on PPM with Microsoft technology, continues this vision and brings an internationally awarded and recognized company to Downtown Phoenix.”
