Southern Rail, a local Valley restaurant inspired by classic American flavors with a Southern twist, invites guests to enjoy Arizona’s beautiful weather, listen to smooth jazz and revel in comfort food and cocktails from the patio for the biannual Jazz & Jambalaya Series. The series begins on Sunday, February 18  and features sazeracs, ½ price bottles of Arizona wine and Chef Beckett’s signature jambalaya, a traditional New Orleans dish with creole tomatoes and rice served with smoked chicken, Andouille sausage and sautéed shrimp. Guests can relax and unwind while enjoying soothing tones of live music from local jazz bands for the perfect Sunday evening.

Jazz & Jambalaya will take place every Sunday from February 18 through April 29, and the jazz bands will play from 5-8 p.m. Featured local jazz artists include The Joe Costello Syndicate and The Phoenician Four.

WHAT: The Jazz & Jambalaya Series invites guests to take full advantage of Arizona’s ideal springtime weather by sipping sazeracs and enjoying jambalaya accompanied by live jazz music. Sazeracs will be available for $8 while jambalaya can be purchased for $21. The regular menu will also be available.
