The Ultimate Beer Celebrations

The official kick off to fall festivities begin with Oktoberfest at The Wigwam. Those looking to experience the ultimate volkfest without flying thousands of miles to Germany are encouraged to indulge in a limited-time German-inspired menu, created by the resort’s culinary team. Along with a selection of beers to pair with the menu, guest will also enjoy live entertainment from The Phoenix Polka Band. Oktoberfest at The Wigwam to take place on Saturday, October 6. Tickets are $10/person (ages 12 & under complimentary).

A highlight for the 2018 fall season, and an event that pays homage to the resorts rich history, guests are invited to indulge in the 100-Year Beer Festival. Taking place on Saturday, November 17, 2018, the festival will celebrate the centennial anniversary of The Wigwam’s historic Organization House, the resort’s first building onsite. Built in 1918, the Organization House served as housing for executives from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, and today is a testament, symbol and foundation of The Wigwam’s enduring authenticity and historic charm.  

In addition to a selection of locally crafted beers, guests who take part in the 100-Year Beer Festival enjoy live entertainment by popular local band Nineball – dubbed “the best hired guns in the Phoenix Metro area.” Foodies can indulge in local fare from on-site venues such as Red’s Bar & Grill or choose from a selection of on-site food trucks. Groups can sip on a selection of local brews while testing their skills in the Game Zone – complete with corn hole, giant Jenga and more. Those looking to elevate their experience, can purchase the VIP package which includes early entry, added signature cocktail tastings and one voucher for a food sample. General admission tickets for the 100 Year Beer Festival include 5 beer/wine samples for $30/person, 10 samples for $45/person, and 15 samples for $55/person. VIP package available for $100/person. Entertainment by Nineball and Game Zone included with food truck offerings available for purchase.  

A Season of Suds  

Following the success of The Wigwam’s summer dining programming, the Fall Beer Dinner Series invites guests to Red’s Bar & Grill to enjoy a four-course meal, expertly paired with four beers from local breweries such as SanTan Brewing Co. and Huss Brewing Co. Chef de Cuisine, Evon Profitt, and a representative from the featured brewery will be on hand to guide guests through the dining experience. Fall Beer Dinner Series events are scheduled for September 20, October 25 and November 15, starting at 6:30pm for $49++ per person, plus tax and gratuity.  

In addition to a variety of seasonal beer offerings taking place at The Wigwam, guests and locals are invited to enjoy weekly happy hours at both The Wigwam Bar and Red’s Bar & Grill. Complete with a selection of small bites, visitors can enjoy the Wigwam Ale – an exclusive brew by Four Peaks Brewery. A seemingly perfect beer for all, the Wigwam Ale’s hop variety gives the beer an earthy, floral aroma with a perfect balance of caramel malt. Travelers can also order the Centennial Beer Flight Offer which includes four beer samples, and an order of 12 wings in four varying flavors – making for the perfect pairing. The Centennial Beer Flight offering is available for $19.18 per person.
