On October 1, 2017, the Arizona location of USO at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will be expanding their hours in an effort to reach and and serve more active duty military and their dependents while they travel.

The USO Center at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport provides a comforting travel lounge experience to service members and families. The center is located on level 2 in Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and is open 365 days a year. Eligible guests include active duty, members of the National Guard and Reserve, and their military ID-holding dependents. New USO hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

“By listening to Arizona’s military community, we are adapting to the changing needs of traveling service members and their families” said Director of USO Arizona, Carla Garcia.

USO Arizona offers morale-boosting and family-strengthening programs to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, and their families throughout Arizona. In 2016, more than 130,000 individuals were impacted by the variety of programs offered to service members throughout Arizona. The USO also provides support to US military applicants at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). An estimated 40,000 applicants and family members visit this MEPS location annually to process into the armed forces. An active volunteer base of 250 and an Advisory Council help a three-person staff deliver support and engagement to thousands of service members and their families year-round, throughout Arizona.
