The upcoming February Valley Partnership monthly breakfast will feature an update on the latest projects planned by the Arizona State Land Department.

Land Commissioner Lisa Atkins and Deputy Commissioner Wesly Mehl will provide a comprehensive update on the State Trust Lands to kick off the Friday, Feb. 17 breakfast.

The Arizona State Land Department is positioned to have a huge impact in the coming years with the possible creation of a bioscience hub, future development of regional and corporate headquarter properties.

Arizona’s State Land Department manages trust assets of more than 9 million acres across Arizona.

After the update by Atkins and Mehl, Grady Gammage, partner at Gammage & Burnham, will moderate an interactive, open discussion among the audience and Atkins and Mehl.

“Our goal is to facilitate a productive discussion around the State Trust Land-related topics that matter most to the commercial real estate and development communities,” said Cheryl Lombard, CEO and President of Valley Partnership. “We’re encouraging the audience to bring their questions, ideas, and concerns.”
