Vet Sec, a security provider for a major Arizona utility provider is hiring 300 security guards to watch over power line installation projects in Phoenix, Tucson, Prescott and Flagstaff. To be considered for immediate employment, applicants must have a vehicle, current driver license and a Guard Card. Guard cards are issued by Arizona DPS.

For those who do not have that certification, but are seeking to obtain it, Vet Sec also offers training and testing. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, full time employees at Vet Sec are eligible for medical, dental, vision, supplemental hospital and life insurance. For those living in the Valley who are willing to travel outside of Phoenix, a per diem is also offered for fuel and travel costs.

Sam Fullam, Manager of the Phoenix Branch at Vet Sec says there are opportunities for experienced guards and those who are just starting out. “We hire hundreds of security guards each year and the demand keeps going up. If you’ve never done security before, we will train you so that you can get your Guard Card and start earning great pay with generous benefits,” said Fullam. “If you have experience, have a vehicle, current driver license and a Guard Card, we can place you right away. It’s as easy as that,” he continued.
