As part of the company’s continued growth, Arizona Commercial Real Estate announced the promotion of Deana Freet to Director of Property Management. In her expanded leadership role, Freet will oversee the continued growth and operations of the firm’s property management division while helping strengthen client relations, operational systems, and overall service execution.
The company has also expanded its property management accounting division with the addition of Steffen Lewis, further reinforcing the firm’s commitment to operational efficiency, financial oversight, and client support as the portfolio continues to grow.
Additionally, Doug Taber, CCIM, has joined the team, bringing years of multifamily real estate experience and market knowledge to the organization. Taber’s background in multifamily assets and investment strategy adds further depth to the company’s growing presence across Arizona’s commercial real estate landscape.

Hazen and Sawyer strengthens its Arizona team with key additions
Hazen and Sawyer is strengthening its Arizona team with the addition of two experienced professionals who bring deep expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure.


Erin Daugherty has joined Hazen and Sawyer as an associate, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the planning, design and management of municipal water and wastewater facility projects. Known for her client-focused approach, Daugherty has served as both a design engineer and project manager on a wide range of infrastructure expansion and improvement efforts, helping communities enhance essential water systems.
The firm also welcomed Farah Alkerwy as a principal scientist. Alkerwy brings extensive experience in the collaborative delivery of large-scale water infrastructure projects, with expertise spanning regulatory and design coordination, stakeholder alignment and team integration. Her background also includes specialized knowledge in business management and construction, adding another layer of value to Hazen and Sawyer’s growing capabilities.

Transwestern welcomes new asset services leader in Phoenix
Transwestern announces that Gene Laramee has joined the firm as Regional Asset Services Leader in Phoenix. Bringing more than 25 years of experience, he will oversee property management operations across the firm’s office, industrial and healthcare portfolio in the region.

Most recently, Laramee served as President of Arizona Commercial Management, where he steered growth across industrial, office and retail portfolios while overseeing property management, accounting and engineering teams. Previously, he served as Senior Managing Director for Arizona and Nevada at Cushman & Wakefield. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years with CBRE in senior leadership roles spanning retail and mixed-use portfolios, client relationships and property operations.
