Upcoming challenge: “The insurance industry faces the challenge of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) ethically and safely, ensuring fairness and data security. As a business leader, I’m preparing for full implementation by prioritizing responsible AI governance, investing in employee training to manage AI-driven processes, and focusing on transparent applications that maintain member trust and regulatory compliance.”

Leadership lesson: “My most important leadership lesson integrates diverse values into successful business strategy. All leaders must balance achieving a healthy bottom line with the appropriate level of veteran and non-profit support, and always consider that the company’s success is intertwined with the health of our community and environment.”

Surprising fact: “I participated in an Air Force Pilot vs. Navy Aviator 2-plus-hour-long ‘dog fight’ training exercise and didn’t pass out or throw up!”
