Dunkin’ Donuts is opening its first Downtown Phoenix location at 102 N. Central Ave. on Wednesday, January 11.
To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will be offering 50 cent cups of medium hot and iced coffee from Wednesday to Friday, Jan. 13. For each sale of medium hot and iced coffee, 100 percent of the proceeds during the first three days will be donated to Make-A-Wish Arizona.
Make-A-Wish Arizona grants the wishes of Arizona children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. From 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Jan. 11, local wish kids will be honored at the store and presented with special items courtesy of Dunkin’s beloved mascot Cuppie and Phoenix Councilman Michael Nowakowski.
“With more than 450 Arizona children waiting for their wish, partnerships like these are what helps make wishes come true,” said Elizabeth Reich, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Arizona.
In addition, guests who sign up for the DD Perks loyalty program on-site will have a chance to win a $100 pre-loaded Dunkin’ Donuts gift card. There will also be a prize wheel and “guess the number of beans” contest with other great prizes.
The new restaurant will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week and will employ approximately 30 crew members. The restaurant will have comfortable seating and will provide a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ food and beverages in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
The new restaurant in downtown Phoenix will offer a complete menu of Dunkin’ Donuts’ internationally recognized coffee, lattes, donuts and bakery goods. The restaurant will also serve items customized with flavors adapted to suit local taste preferences.
“We’re excited to provide another option for downtown commuters and residents who have been clamoring for this location ever since Dunkin’ came to the Valley. We are also excited to give back to the community through our partnership with Make-A-Wish Arizona,” said Paul Faust, director of operations for local Dunkin’ Donuts franchise group ABDD Capital.
ABDD Capital is a Dunkin’ Donuts franchise partner in Phoenix and currently operates multiple Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants throughout the metro-Phoenix area. Today, there are 65 total Dunkin’ Donuts locations throughout the Valley.
