News-Talk 92.3 KTAR and Arizona Sports 620 are teaming up for the 5th year to help the kids at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Give-A-Thon is the largest fundraiser for the hospital, raising more than $1 million in just 18 hours for the last three years. Bonneville’s two strong stations will simulcast live from the hospital Tuesday, September 24 from 3pm – 8pm and Wednesday, September 25 from 5am – 7pm. This year’s event is also a celebration of Phoenix Children’s 30th Birthday.

“We can’t think of a better way to help Phoenix Children’s celebrate 30 years of bringing hope and healing to Valley kids than to ask our partners and community to support the hospital,” said Bonneville Media Vice President/General Manager, Scott Sutherland. “Our Bonneville employees are honored to use our resources to help Phoenix Children’s care for our community’s children.”

On hand to host the two-day event will be the stations’ popular on-air personalities: Mac & Gaydos, Jayme West, Burns & Gambo, Ned & Connie, Dan Beach, Paul Calvisi, Bruce St. James, Pamela Hughes, Kyndra de St. Aubin, Doug & Wolf, Karie Dozer, Dan Bickley & Vince Marotta and Rob Hunter.

The high-impact event also includes a phone bank staffed by volunteers, inspiring patient stories, partner check presentations and celebrity appearances. Listeners have the opportunity to celebrate Phoenix Children’s 30th birthday by donating $30 a month to give a teddy bear in their name to a patient.

“The results that Scott Sutherland, his team and partners achieve for Phoenix Children’s year after year are nothing short of extraordinary,” said Steve Schnall, Senior Vice President, Phoenix Children’s Hospital. “We are extremely grateful for Bonneville Media’s unwavering support for our patient families and the tremendous impact they have on our hospital.”
