Salt River Fields at Talking Stick will be taken over by the annual Larry Fitzgerald Double Play Celebrity Softball Game, on Saturday, April 21 featuring some of the best current NFL players, retired athletes, and celebrities for a fun and festive evening. This family-friendly event will feature a Home Run Derby and Softball Game from 6-8:30 pm on the diamond at Salt River Fields.
Fans can enjoy seeing Larry’s friends both on and off the field at this year’s events, including Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson, former Cardinal and current Jacksonville Jaguar Calais Campbell, Phoenix Mercury star Diana Taurasi, New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey, model & actress AZ Marie (Empire on FOX), NFL Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher, All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson, ABC15’s Chelsey Davis, NFL Hall of Famer/All-Pro Wide Receiver Terrell Owens, Producer LT Hutton (Tupac Biopic ‘All Eyes on Me’), former NBA playerand coach Derek Fisher, NFL prospect, Christian Kirk, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner, and many more.

The event supports the Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund, which supports nonprofits benefitting children and families around the country including the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the American Cancer Society, Make a Wish, and more.
The 8th annual Larry Fitzgerald Double Play Softball Game is excited to share a generous donation from Albertsons-Safeway and Cardinals Charities supporting the First Down Fund that will be presented during this year’s game. Gates will open at 5 pm, and the Home Run Derby will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the game at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $20, plus attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to United Food Bank and anyone who donates a non-perishable food item will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win memorabilia and prizes. Parking is free. There will also be an After Party at the W Scottsdale after the game on Saturday, April 21, where players and fans can relax and celebrate after an evening of fun and fundraising for the Larry Fitzgerald’s First Down Fund at Salt River Fields.
