In addition to Edwards, Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona (BHGH) will be honoring founding board member and long-time supporter, F. Michael Geddes for his 29 years of service to BHGH. With a record-breaking fundraising goal, BHGH will host the Success Starts with Hope Breakfast on May 8th at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel. The event is expected to have 600 attendees and to raise more than $300,000 for the local non-profit.
Also attending the event are BHGH scholars, alumni and collegians who have benefited from the program. The BHGH Seniors will be revealing their college choices at the breakfast.
Money raised at the breakfast directly supports BHGH scholars and provides housing, education, food, clothing, books, academic supplies, college aid, summer camps, transportation and living expenses for this 100% privately funded program.
Amy Pfeifer, Executive Director of Boys Hope Girls Hope, said, “We are thrilled to have Herm Edwards speak at our breakfast. All of his career he has served as a positive role model and leader.”
