On Saturday, July 23, Mountain Vista Medical Center will hold a family-friendly celebration to mark the hospital’s ninth anniversary. With free health screenings, kids’ activities, food trucks and the chance to win prizes, the event will have something for everyone.

The free event will take place between 10 a.m. and noon, offering back-to-school eye checks. The Phoenix Suns Solar Squad will be performing too, between 10 – 11 a.m. and the Phoenix Sun Gorilla “Go” will make a special appearance between 11 a.m. – Noon.

Families are encouraged to bring their kids. There will be games and crafts, and even appearances from special guests including Captain America, Super Girl and the Mesa Fire and Medical Department. Guests will also have the opportunity to get back-to-school health questions answered and meet the local family medicine and women’s health doctors who are on the Mountain Vista Medical Center staff.

“We love being a part of the East Valley community and giving back to residents,” said Susan Dolezal, RN, Chief Nursing Officer of Mountain Vista Medical Center. “We look forward to another year of providing comprehensive health care services to Arizona residents and visitors.”

The community event will be held at the Mountain Vista Medical Center outpatient entrance at 1301 S. Crismon Road in Mesa. To pre-register for a chance to win a Visa gift card and other prizes, visit mvmedicalcenter.com or call 1-877-924-WELL (9355).
