Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) and the Bashas’ Family of Stores are partnering during the month of March to “Team Up for Autism” as part of the Bashas’ Charity of the Month program.
Throughout March, customers at the 120 Bashas’, Food City, and AJ’s Fine Food Stores throughout Arizona have the opportunity to make a donation at the register to the “Team Up for Autism” campaign.  Donations can be any denomination starting at $1 and all donations will benefit SARRC.
“We are grateful to the Bashas’ Family of Stores for selecting SARRC as their Charity of the Month this March. We greatly value the generosity of Bashas’, Food City, and AJ’s Fine Foods customers to help advance research and provide a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families,” said Daniel Openden, SARRC president and chief executive officer.
“Bashas’ Family of Stores is honored to have this opportunity to support the research, early intervention, and vocational and life skills programs of SARRC.  Their work, in combination with the medical community, is blessing the lives of many Arizona families,” said Edward Basha III, CEO, Bashas’, Inc.
Several media and business sponsors are also part of the “Team Up for Autism” campaign including Fox Sports Arizona, Frito Lay, KTAR News 92.3 FM, Pepsi, Univision Arizona, UniMas Arizona, and 105.9 FM.
