One year since opening its doors, the My Sisters’ Charities Thrift Store in Chandler has many things to celebrate, especially the staggering $72,000 in donations generated for the non-profit’s benefitting organizations.
“We are thrilled with the success of My Sisters’ Charities Thrift Store and amazed at what we were able to accomplish in just one short year,” said Ann Siner, who founded and owns Eco-Chic Consignments in 1991 along with her sister, Jenny Siner. “My Sisters’ Charities is committed to supporting organizations aimed at wildlife preservation, helping women in abusive relationships and ending euthanasia of homeless pets, and we know our contribution will make a difference.”
The company includes popular designer consignment stores My Sister’s Closet , My Sister’s Attic and Well Suited, all of which contribute merchandise and manpower to the My Sisters’ Charities Thrift Store.
The $72,000 in charitable revenue was donated to roughly 15 nonprofits, including the Arizona Humane Society, HALO Animal Rescue, AZ Nature Conservancy, Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center, Fresh Start, and Defenders of Wildlife.
First opened July 2014, the 3,200 square-foot thrift store carries everything from clothing, accessories, furniture and household items at ultra-discounted prices and weekly sales, including regular $1 specials on featured fashions.
