It’s a simple fact: We have a greater impact when we work united. That’s why Valley of the Sun United Way is inviting volunteers to come together for a week of service culminating with the Day of Action on Saturday, September 16.

Community members can learn more about the events and sign up at vsuw.org/volunteer.

Participants will assemble WeekEnd Hunger Backpacks, participate in an elementary school mural project, plant a fall garden at a community center, or even do an at-home project like building teacher kits or creating recipe cards.

Since 1925, Valley of the Sun United Way has been uniting diverse partners and bringing together donors, business supporters, nonprofits, government and faith-based communities to build a stronger Valley for us all. United Way is keenly focused on breaking the cycle of poverty by ensuring children and youth succeed, ending hunger and homelessness, and increasing the financial stability of families. United Way is the largest nonprofit investor in health and human service programs in the Valley with the support of nearly 90,000 individual donors, 500 business supporters, and a wide array of volunteers and partners.
