In 2015, Wells Fargo & Company donated more than $8 million to support Arizona schools and nonprofits while its employees volunteered 110,344 hours.

This giving total represents $4,729,495 in corporate and foundation contributions and $3,317,986 personally contributed by Wells Fargo Arizona team members during its annual Community Support Campaign in September.

The Arizona team members’ volunteer hours impacted 2,970 Arizona nonprofits, schools and community organizations.

“Wells Fargo’s focus on the customers and communities in Arizona is unwavering,” said Pam Conboy, lead region president for Wells Fargo in Arizona. “We understand and embrace our responsibility to create and support resilient, sustainable communities and we also know that we are stronger together. Beyond Wells Fargo’s philanthropic donations, our team members’ willingness to give so generously of their time and financial resources is a testament to their commitment to help their communities succeed.”

Wells Fargo donated $281.3 million to 16,300 nonprofits across the United States in 2015 and team members contributed a total of $98.8 million to 30,000 nonprofits and schools, marking the 13th consecutive year that team member donations increased.

The banking firm pledged $69.7 million during the company’s month-long Community Support Campaign, leading United Way Worldwide to name Wells Fargo’s employee workplace giving campaign number one in the U.S. for the seventh consecutive year.

Team members also volunteered 1.86 million hours with 40,000 nonprofits and schools. It was the highest number of volunteer hours Wells Fargo employees have ever recorded.
