True Food Kitchen appoints new CEO John Williams
Today, True Food Kitchen, the award-winning, wellness-focused, seasonally driven restaurant group, announces industry veteran John Williams as Chief Executive Officer. With over two decades of experience working in hospitality, entertainment and consumer packaged goods, Williams draws from his wealth of expertise gained at top consumer-facing brands to support and lead True Food Kitchen’s continued expansion and evolution.
Having successfully opened 43 locations throughout the country since its inception 15 years ago, True Food Kitchen is the only restaurant group fundamentally focused on founder Dr. Andrew Weil’s philosophy of better living through eating anti-inflammatory foods. U-Haul promotes Kristine Campbell to role of general counsel
U-Haul® has announced Kristine Campbell will become its new General Counsel beginning on May 12, following Larry De Respino’s decision to retire after 18 years in that role.
U-Haul is in its 78th year of operations as the industry leader in moving and self-storage, and has been headquartered in Phoenix since 1967.
Campbell joined the U-Haul Legal team in 2011. She served as Assistant General Counsel under De Respino for nine years and has been Director of Litigation since 2020.
“I’m honored and excited for this challenge,” Campbell stated. “I want to continue our pursuit of representing U-Haul in the best and strongest way possible in the legal arena. I’m also motivated to grow U-Haul Legal’s relationships with Team Members across our network, fostering open communication with the field teams caring for our customers, as well as our many departments here at corporate headquarters.”
Campbell received her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2003 and her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College. Prior to joining U-Haul, Campbell was a member of the class action legal team at Greenberg Traurig LLP in Phoenix.
Edward Milton joins NAI’s National Self-Storage Investment Group
NAI Horizon Principal Denise Nunezannounced that Edward Milton, an investment sales specialist since 2015, has joined theNAI National Self-Storage Investment Group in Seattle and will represent buyers, sellers, and developers of self-storage facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Concurrently, Milton has joined NAI Puget Sound Properties in Seattle and is licensed with the firm.
Milton is a knowledgeable and trusted real estate investment advisor specializing in the acquisition, sales, and development of self-storage facilities. He has worked in various aspects of investment property sales. More recently he started to specialize in self-storage properties, including facilitating a self-storage property sale in Bend, Oregon, that totaled nearly 23,000 SF with 146 units for $4.2 million.
“Bringing Edward Milton on is a great expansion for the National Self-Storage Investment Group as the Pacific Northwest has increasingly become a very active region in the self-storage industry with private owner/investors, family-run self-storage operators, developers that specialize in the niche, and the public REITs that invest exclusively in self-storage,” Nunez said.
Nunez, a Principal with NAI Horizon, is based in Phoenix and is the Executive Managing Director of the National Self-Storage Investment Group. She has worked in the self-storage industry for more than two decades and has closed transactions in more than a dozen states.
