Velocity Retail opens asset management division

Velocity Retail Group announces the hiring of Mark Villalpando as Senior Vice President and Designated Broker of the firms newly launched Velocity Management Services division.  The division will work with new and existing clients to maximize property value and investment returns.  

In addition, Mark will be the Senior Vice President of Development for Accelerated Development Services, Velocity Retail’s affiliate company.  This company provides a resource for Velocity’s clients to handle their build-to-suit expansions as well as construction management.

Avison Young launches new project management practice group

David Genovese, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company’s Arizona region, announced that the firm has launched a new project management practice group in the state. 

Effective immediately, George Rubelsky becomes a Senior Project Manager based in the company’s Phoenix office. He will lead and grow the team in Greater Phoenix and throughout Arizona.

Rubelsky, a licensed general contractor within Arizona, brings more than 30 years of real estate development, project management and construction management experience to Avison Young, most recently as project manager with Sun State Builders in Phoenix.

Sundt promotes Richard Keil

Richard Keil has been promoted to President of the Industrial Group for Sundt Construction, Inc.

Keil has nearly 30 years of experience in industrial projects.  He joined Sundt in 2014 as Senior Vice President for the Industrial Group after spending 24 years with several major national contractors throughout the South and Mid-Atlantic regions. Sundt’s Industrial Group has flourished under Keil’s leadership, increasing its revenue forecasts more than $600 million since his arrival four years ago.

In 2017, the group increased revenue, improved safety performance, entered new markets, and expanded geographically. Through this growth cycle the Industrial Group maintained high scores for customer satisfaction with current clients in addition to expanding the company’s client base.
