Today’s spotlight: Julie Giese

Title: President, ISM Raceway

Giese was named the president of ISM Raceway in 2018 and is the only current female president of a NASCAR track. Giese worked tirelessly alongside the ISM Raceway team on the design and project management of the $178 million ISM Raceway renovation and upgrade.

Source of pride:The opportunity to lead the amazing team at ISM Raceway is truly an honor, and being the only current female president of a race track makes me extremely proud.”

The personality trait that helped you succeed:Hard work. I’m not afraid to put in the long hours & extra time to do it the right way to ultimately achieve my goals.”

The personality trait that got you into trouble:Patience is not one of my best events. I continue to remind myself that sometimes you need to let something play out versus trying to immediately influence the outcome.”

Best childhood memory:Growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, I loved showing our animals at the county fair. My nephew is now showing his animals at the fair, giving me an excuse to visit each summer.”
