Background: Ostmann, CPA, has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. He has been CFO at Diversified Roofing since February 2022. Prior to that, he served as CFO at Allredi from November 2018 to February 2022.
Attraction to career: “I was attracted to the logic of it. It’s very common sense oriented and that’s kind of how I’m wired.”
Best part of the job: “I really enjoy developing people and developing talent and sharing my experience in a number of different areas.”
Evolution of CFO role: “The role of the CFO has changed dramatically since I started my career and I think data has become so important these days. Being able to analyze it, display it and communicate it to the members of management and the investors in critical today.”
