Each year, Az Business magazine, a publication of AZ Big Media, presents the Champions of Change Awards to recognize those dynamic innovators and trailblazers who are changing Arizona’s business landscape through leadership, visionary thinking and philanthropy. The Champions of Change Awards honor both individuals and organizations. The Champions of Change Awards will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024. Each day leading up to the event, we will preview one category of finalists. Today, meet the Champions of Change finalists for philanthropic business leader of the year.

PetSmart Charities

A passionate philanthropist, Francis has been an exemplary board leader for the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute for American Democracy. He was paramount in the board’s diversity initiatives and led the organization’s pursuit to honor Frederick Douglass at the Institute’s annual History Dinner in 2023.

Fulton continues to recognize the service and sacrifice of America’s heroes through programs designed to encourage patriotism and support the veteran community. “Supporting our military veterans (through Fulton Homes’ Fly the Flag campaign) has always been a core value at Fulton Homes,” Fulton says.
