Great Hearts Academies, a network of non-profit public charter schools, announced plans for an inaugural gala event on Oct. 1 to support its esteemed body of teachers.
The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix and is being co-chaired by Great Hearts parents and community leaders Bonnie and Jon Brovitz, Nicole and Billy Cundiff and Michele Davis.
The Great Hearts Gala will serve as a celebration of Great Hearts Academies and its teachers in the style of The Great Gatsby.
Funds generated through this event will support programs to develop and retain the network’s incredible teachers, recruited from across the nation to teach in 23 Valley academies.
Great Hearts teachers support the academies’ classical, liberal arts model, which includes a rigorous and well-rounded curriculum, robust extra-curricular activities and competitive athletics.
