The new team members are joining Fennemore laterally from Moye White, a full-service business firm in Denver boasting a reputation built on nearly 50 years of excellence in real estate, litigation, and business legal services. Fennemore’s expanded western reach will open new avenues for delivering exceptional client service, specifically in the practice areas of real estate, litigation, and business legal services. The lawyers and legal professionals joining Fennemore create new opportunities for scaling and recruiting diverse legal talent, as well as a greater ability to capitalize on Denver’s dynamic economic growth.

James Goodnow, Fennemore’s CEO shared, “The world is changing, but most law firms aren’t. Fennemore is on a mission to redefine what it means to practice law—keeping an unwavering focus on better serving clients at the core of everything we do. Our new teammates share our vision. We look forward to strengthening our presence in the Denver community and across the U.S.”

Fennemore’s Dan Reilly remarked on the expansion, “I know from experience that tapping the new Denver additions will result in greater opportunity and enhance our ability to serve clients creatively and efficiently. These lawyers bring even more muscle to our bench and expand our reach across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain states. John McHugh will continue to serve as Denver’s Office Managing Partner, guiding our path forward with his leadership and deep commitment to our firm’s success.” Dan Reilly, founder of the locally and nationally regarded legacy firm, Reilly Pozner LLP, combined with Fennemore in 2021.

Merc Pittinos, formerly the managing partner of Moye White commented, “Our decision to join Fennemore is about expanding on our vision for growth to become the go-to business law firm in the West. Together, we capture the best of both worlds—leading business acumen and legal experience—to deliver unmatched service to our clients.” Pittinos will serve on Fennemore’s Management Committee.

Expanding on this vision for growth, Ted White, previously with Moye White and one of its named partners noted, “Joining Fennemore represents a unique opportunity to deliver top-tier client service while leveraging Fennemore’s cutting-edge technology and its organizational leadership. This new chapter at Fennemore is a testament to our dedication to a future-focused, innovative legal practice.”

This expansion marks Fennemore’s fourth significant move in 2024, illustrating its ongoing commitment to setting new benchmarks in client service while maintaining its mission and vision set in 1885. Since January 1, 2024, Fennemore has teamed up with San Diego’s Sullivan Hill, Seattle’s Savitt Bruce & Willey, and Sacramento’s Wagner Kirkman Blaine Klomparens & Youmans.

The addition of these exceptional lawyers aligns seamlessly with Fennemore’s strategic plan. With this growth, Fennemore not only enriches its team but deepens its commitment to shaping the future of legal service.
