Koi Poke founder Sarah Bowers announced today the sale of six of Koi Poke’s seven valley locations to a private equity group headed up by Todd Stottlemyre. The group will also be the exclusive franchisor for all future locations across North America.

The Stottlemyre group will wholly own and operate the locations at Arcadia, The Shops at Gainey Village, The Plant in Chandler, and the Scottsdale Waterfront location, as well as two locations at Park West in Peoria, and Noterra which are opening soon. 

Bowers and her original investors will retain sole ownership of the flagship Koi Poke Bar and Bowl location in North Scottsdale at DC Ranch Crossing.

The Stottlemyre group owned- locations will be modified slightly in name and concept under the Koibito Poke brand in 2020.

“I am so proud of everyone at Koi Poke that worked so hard to make this happen and I am thrilled that Todd and his group are going to take what we have created and make it a national brand,” said Bowers. “At the same time, I am also committed to maintaining the integrity of the original concept at DC Ranch and continue to serve all of our amazing and loyal guests that have been with us from the very beginning.”

The sale was completed late last week.
