Attorney Scott J. Richardson, a partner at Nussbaum Gillis & Dinner, P.C., one of North Scottsdale’s largest law firms, was a featured presenter at The Forensic Expert Witness Annual Conference and Symposium held April 24-26 at the Tempe Mission Palms. The event was hosted by The Forensic Expert Witness Association (FEWA), a national organization dedicated to the professional development, ethics, and promotion of forensic consultants in all fields of discipline.

Richardson’s presentation was titled: Depositions & Cross Examinations — How to Excel.

Richardson is an AV-Preeminent rated attorney and has practiced Insurance Law and Administrative Law in Arizona for 27 years.

Richardson began his career as a court courier for a law firm in Illinois in 1971. After graduating from DePaul University in 1974 with his J.D. degree, he joined the firm as an associate, working his way up to equity partner. Moving to Arizona in 1986, he developed the reputation as one of the foremost attorneys in Insurance Law including coverage issues, not only in Arizona but across the nation.

He also continues to work extensively in Administrative matters including pest control, landscape contracting, and a myriad of other agencies in Arizona. He is the former chair of the Administrative Law section of the State Bar of Arizona, and serves as Counsel and lobbyist to the Arizona Pest Management Association the Arizona Landscape Contractors’ Association. In addition, he has authored numerous articles and books related to the pest-control and landscape industry. He also teaches courses approved for credit by the Office of Pest Management of the State of Arizona.

Richardson’s practice focuses on Insurance Law and Administrative Law including Pest Control and Landscape Law, in which he has received national recognition.
