Top cannabis industry leaders from across the state will discuss the future of adult-use in Arizona at the Marijuana Industry Trade Association’s (MITA-AZ) virtual town hall meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 14th. The public is invited to attend.

Panelists include experts in licensing, business, operations and law. Sara Gullickson and Maxime Kot of Cannaboss Advisors will share best practices for investors with tips on how to prepare for applications and outpace the competition. Attorneys Laura A. Bianchi and Justin M. Brandt of Bianchi & Brandt in Scottsdale will share legal insight on the evolving state policy during an election year. Attorney Joe Keene of Sacks Tierney will also weigh in with updates on the state’s Smart and Safe initiative.

Other guests include Mikel Weisser of Arizona NORML. The panel will be moderated by Demitri Downing and Danielle Sedgwick of MITA-AZ.

“This virtual town hall will help attendees get prepared as they head into the election season, one that could result in a legal adult-use situation for the state of Arizona. We have brought together the best in the industry to share their insight and help stakeholders get prepared to maximize their opportunities,” said Downing.

MITA-AZ is the largest cannabis networking organization in Arizona. The group hosted its first virtual event in April, bringing together 16 industry powerhouses with more than 100 attendees. The influential organization unites cannabis license holders, industry professionals, investors, stakeholders, and policy makers from around the country to educate and advocate for smart, regulated, responsible cannabis policy.

Established in 2016, MITA-AZ was founded with a mission to help Arizona’s cannabis industry stay informed, network and thrive. For information or tickets, visit MITA-AZ.org.
