Lerner & Rowe Gives Back, the nonprofit arm of the award-winning law firm Lerner & Rowe Injury Attorneys, raised over $1 million to support local Arizona community initiatives at its 11th Annual Lerner & Rowe Charity Golf Classic – a record for the golf tournament’s 11 year history.

The Charity Golf Classic, hosted on Friday, April 26 at McCormick Ranch Golf Club, raises funds every April for local charities supporting health & human services, youth programs, animal welfare and public safety. In a first for the event, the nonprofit chose a beneficiary of its fundraising, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Phoenix Children’s Foundation.

“The generous support of Lerner & Rowe Gives Back will fuel our mission of providing hope, healing and the best possible care to every child who walks through our doors,” said Tim Harrison, vice president of corporate partnerships at Phoenix Children’s Foundation. “The money raised through this tournament will be instrumental in innovating and expanding our programs at Phoenix Children’s.”

Attendees participated in 18 holes of golf with activations at each hole, with prizes including Oakley merchandise, VR headsets, vintage wines and luxury trips, with one person going home with a brand new Toyota Camry from Right Toyota. The event was catered by Chick-fil-A, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers and Mister Softee.
