AAF PHX, the Phoenix Chapter of the American Advertising Federation, announced today it has earned top honors from their national organization, receiving first place in National Club Achievement for Programming for Division 3. Winners will be formally recognized and honored June 6 – 9 in Chicago at the Salute to Achievers Luncheon, part of ADMERICA, AAF’s national advertising conference.

There were a total of 58 clubs that entered 280 Club Achievement submissions. AAF PHX is Division 3, which represent clubs with membership of 100-249 members. There were 14 clubs that submitted for that division’s Club Achievement awards.

Entries are submitted in the form of a scrapbook that illustrate the work accomplished in eight categories of association management; Advertising Education, Communications, Programs, Public Service, Government Relations, Club Operation, Diversity and Multicultural Initiatives and Membership Development. Entries are reviewed and scored by a panel of association management professionals who understand the intricacies and challenges that face the leadership of volunteer member driven associations.

“I am so proud of the AAF PHX board members and our advertising community for raising our programming standards to such great heights,” says Amy Packard Berry, AAF PHX President. “Together, we are elevating Creativity, Community and Collaboration in Phoenix, and this award proves the results are very tangible.”
