For more than seven years, Scottsdale-based Evolve PR and Marketing has helped hundreds of businesses tell thousands of stories. With improving economic conditions nationwide, the boutique firm has seen an increased interest in its services and is welcoming more business than ever before. Evolve added 22 new clients to its roster in Q1 of 2018, bringing its Q1 total to more than 60 clients and marking the largest first-quarter growth for the 12-person company.

Launched by Jennifer Kaplan — one of Az Business magazine’s Most Influential Women of 2017 — in September 2010, Evolve represents and has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including restaurant, retail, events, nonprofit, finance, cannabis, medical, legal, commercial and residential real estate, technology and aerospace.

“Jennifer and her team have been with my company from the very start,” said Fired Pie co-founder and owner Fred Morgan. “Five years ago, we were just two guys who wanted to change the pizza business. Now, we have more than 20 restaurants throughout Arizona. Using Evolve to connect with consumers had a large role in our rapid growth.”

The Evolve client list now includes The Maggiore Group (Hash Kitchen, Tomaso’s, Sicilian Butcher, Tomaso’s When in Rome), TruWest Credit Union, The Colony and tech company OTOjOY. They join clients such as HomeSmart, Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, Waymo, formerly Google’s self-driving car project, LPGA, John C. Lincoln Hospital’s Chief of Plastic Surgery Dr. Pablo Prichard, Russo & Steele and the Maricopa County Home Shows.

“Our relationships in this industry are very sacred,” said Kaplan. “We are an extension of every team we work with, whether it’s our clients or the media. Passion is our greatest motivator. When you are passionate about your job, you don’t work a day of your life.”

Evolve’s marketing outreach includes national and local public and media relations and social media management. With 12 employees, Evolve is one of the largest PR teams in the Valley. Like its name, Evolve, has continued to adapt to a fluid media landscape and is always looking for ways to grow its team and client family.
