What it does: Mental health services

Admirable trait: Copa Health will open an integrated residential treatment facility in August of 2023, for youth ages 13-17 with intellectual/developmental, behavioral, and medically fragile conditions, have a therapeutic program where they live, learn new skills and have 24/7 support to address their needs. A collaborative and innovative project will provide services at a new transitional housing facility being built in Downtown Phoenix.

Innovation: Copa Health increased the number of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams and established an intensive case management level of care that removes gaps in care between supportive treatment and the more intensive treatment an ACT team offers. New levels of care allow Copa to reexamine and redefine supportive and connective levels of care.
