Bonnie Halley, senior vice president, Colliers

BACKGROUND: Bonnie C Halley, a Phoenix native, spent 19 years in bank management and commercial lending before becoming a commercial real estate broker in 2004. She earned the CCIM designation in 2009 and joined Colliers in April 2018 where she is a senior vice president. Halley specializes in the sales and leasing of industrial commercial real estate, where she provides high-net-worth families bespoke customized credit solutions.

CAREER PATH INSPIRATION: “I have a strong desire to provide relevant information and solutions to our clients. This allows them to make the best decisions to maximize the return on their investment in the commercial real estate industry.”

SOURCE OF PRIDE: “Exceeding our clients’ expectations brings a great sense of satisfaction. Knowing the market, we recently positioned a property that sold for 40% higher than the recent MAI appraisal. We have repeatedly taken high-vacancy business parks to 100% occupancy in relatively short timeframes. Outperforming the market brings a great deal of satisfaction to our clients and our team at Colliers.”

SOURCE OF INSPIRATION: “Daryl Burton. He trusted our team with leasing almost one-third of his entire 10.5 million-square-foot, industrial-real-estate portfolio. Daryl is an unassuming business leader in commercial real estate and philanthropy. His encouragement, tenacity, and ability to tackle the difficult, has been an inspiration to me and countless others.”

SURPRISING FACT: “Looking at me, you might not realize that I understand and speak Spanish. I lived in Central America for about seven years when our children were very young. I will eves-drop on your conversation while conducting property tours.”
